*A little curiosity, a lot of science.*
Welcome! Iβm Emily, a biology graduate with a love for understanding how life works.
This website is a growing collection of **evidence-based learning notes** and **original scientific illustrations**, organized to help you see how the pieces fit together. Subjects unfold into topics and subtopics, **starting with the big picture before exploring the details**. Along the way, connections within and across subjects help you stay oriented as you learn.
During my biology degree, I often struggled to understand where individual concepts belonged in the larger picture. Iβm now revisiting what I learned and **organizing it the way I wish it had been presented to me**, a process that continues to make familiar ideas clearer and reveal connections I missed the first time.
My curiosity also takes me beyond the basics, into topics and details that received less attention in my undergraduate experience. These explorations follow the same approach: clear explanations, scientific evidence, and a place within the bigger picture.
